got a free one
« on: May 28, 2010, 04:29:36 PM »
buddy evicted some non paying tenants from one of his appartments and the guy took off and left a garmin etrex behind. Just a basic unit, nothing like my delorne but it works just fine and looks like new. I also got a browning compound bow and an electrical multi meter and a few tools. Not a bad haul for helping him for an hour.

Which probably also means that it has seen very little use, Congrat's

A friend won an etrex just a few years ago and brought it over because he is not one to bother with reading a manual...I only had to mess with it for 10 min or so and was able to clue him in on the basic usage. Yours should make for a good backup.
