I've got a 3-9x50 Blazer on my 7-08 Handi and it seems to work good. It's not as bright as some others but it is a cheaper scope so you can't have everything.

I just bought my  third one and put it on a 22.  They won't take heavy recoil, and are not long range scopes.  They are fine on low recoil, 100 yd. guns.   Can't complain for the money, and they have served me well.  I use on on a 357 Handi, and two rimfires.

I have 3 models of Simmons scopes: 2-Pro Hunter, 1-Pro Sport and 1-22 Mag.  Except for the 22 Mag model that is on a 22 LR, others are on centerfire rifles in caliber 257R to 30-06.  Have no problems or complaints about these Simmon's scopes.  They have served me well.  As for the Blazer models, I gave them no consideration when looking at a Simmons scope to purchase.  While I tend to purchase inexpensive brands of rifle scopes, I avoid their lowest priced models.

Work fine on a low cal but if you are in NEED of a stiff scope go a little higher on the rung.
