Buy IT!!! You won't be sorry.  I have a 350 in a 673 and love it.  Besides it being a great caliber, the prices on the classics in 350 keep going up.  About 3 years ago, I saw 3 diiferent ones at 3 different gun shows. They were all between $500-$600.  The last one I seen a few months ago was $950.

I have one of the original Classics in 35 Whelen.  It has performed well on elk, whitetails, mule deer, antelope, and mountain lion.  The 350 is it's ballistic twin in a short action.  It will do the job...period.

Look here www.35cal.com for lots of info on 35s.  This guy's load info is HOT, and over book, but you can learn alot if you temper it with your own sense of safety.

I prefer the Model 7 CDL. Ruger chambered the 350 Rem. Mag., it too, is a nice rifle.

"G" I thought you were one of the lucky guys that did not have any issues with his BLR .  I would not let that gun out of My hands. The first one we had, was in 308 and it had a steel reciever . It shot good however you had to stay with one load, or resite the gun back in . the Second was a 358 with the alloy reciever . Had it three years of which 2 1/2  years where spent in for repairs . I sold it the third year just after it was repaired.
Country boy has gone to Browning X bolt  Last I heard . Then I wonder if he will get another in a bigger cal. Remember the man with the most toys "Wins "

Once in awhile you may come accross a Remington 660 in 350 Rem. these guns are heavier barreled than the model 7 that replaced it. With a 20 inch barrel they are short and sweet for the bush. I used one for twenty years in 308 until I let it go to a friend who just had to have it . It always shot under an inch @ 100 yards .Some rifles you regret you sold later .
The 35 Whelan does what the 350 Remington does and brass and ammo is indeed a lot cheaper .It would be my pick, since I prefer to shoot more than a few box's of ammo a year from my rifles .

Another thought, since you like your levers too ! Check into a Marlin 338 ME . The 22" bareled gun is not as much as the 24 inch version , and your into the powder of the 'o6. Check out the Marlin owners forum

Hang onto that BLR in the meantime !!
