Hopefully I can describe this enough to get pointed in the right direction to go.
The DA trigger on my GP100 "sticks" about 3/16" into the trigger pull. It's not a rough machined parts sticky, its something is catching badly sticking. I took the thing completely apart to check every piece. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. During reassembly the pull was smooth up until you put pressure on the hammer. Once you do it catches until you apply enough force to the trigger & it "breaks" and continues thru the trigger pull.
1. Is this fixable myself? I'm figuring no, but I'll take suggestions if it is.
2. Should I send it to ruger or can a local gunsmith easily correct this problem?
Thanks for your input.
