Bho has it all figured out !
It is being reported that he is sending 100 lawyers to the gulf coast along with James Cameron, the producer of the movie "Avatar". Now, I'm just a dumb old blacksmith (among other things), but I just don't understand how 100 lawyers will help fix the leak.

In fact, I don't even see how Cameron can help, unless he sends Leonardo Dicaprio down with a 2' bathtub plug..

But then, I'm just a "countrified" old guy, not in any way comparable to any of those brilliant "Ivy Leaguers" in the administration.

Actually, by my calculations it should take only 50 lawyers stuffed in that pipe to stop the leak, but having 50 more on standby ain't a bad idea.  That Cameron fella is supposed to be the expert on how to get er done and film the whole thing.

Another try at top kill? I think we have plenty of lawyers to spare let's dump a couple hundred thousand of them one it and see it it clears up the leak.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Okay then, are we all agreed that Holter should be sent right on down there to the leak to investigate?  While he's down there, maybe he could unstick the saw blade.

Obama promised to build sand berms along the coast, but hasn't done it.  This slow response is worse than New Orleans.  The sand berms could have been dredged and built just off the existing coast to stop the oil.  Also hay and other clean up methods.  The government has sand dredges which periodically clean out channels along the intercoastal waterway.  Why have all of them on the east coast or Texas been sent to Louisana, Alabama and the Florida panhandle to build these berms?  It would make cleanup easier and not damage beaches where homes, hotels, and condo's are, as well as the natural perserves along the coast.  His response is worse than Bush with New Orleans.  Why isn't the media screaming.  Lawsuits will come from familes involved, and the coastal states.  Federal lawyers don't have to get involved yet.  BP will pay and probably go bankrupt paying.  From what I have read, they have tried everything possible starting from the least risky to the most risky.  BP should never had been allowed to buy out Texaco and Gulf oil companies.  More companies = more competition = lower prices and more inovation and alternative fuels.

Isn't the crude oil a big enough mess... you want to pollute the water even more with a hundred lawyers and an un-Holywood producer too?   ;D

Usually crime scenes are investigated just as soon as possible....you think.? And same for recovery of losses.
Perhaps your beef is that BHO is not showing the proper genuflect to corporate BP.

..TM7

It takes a hundred lawyers in dive gear to investigate a crime scene ?

He is sending 100 lawyers to kill BP. Ultimately, that is a good thing. BP appears to be the loose cannon of the oil industry. There is no real reason to plug the leak until that happens.

I think as long as you kept the lawyers away from such things as prunes, Ex-Lax, or high fiber cereals, 1 or 2 lawyers would be more than enough to plug that hole. BUT! As they say in D.C. Why waste a crisis. Send 500 hundred with another 500 on standby, and a draft possible. ;D

BHO, is nothing more then a pot stirrer.. he has no real ability to address, understand and apply a fix to any real world problem
if this situation dont prove that nothing will... lets not forget that he claimed he had BP in his pocket, he also claimed that his administration
was telling BP what to do from the start, then back peddled and made the statement that BP was not doing as told..
now its all in BHO's hands and he is fumbling around like a 10th grade virgin with a 3 clasp bra ...
i say use corpses of the lawyers to plug the hole and let cameron film BHO's apologies for lying to us, not being presidential material, and us having to look at his hood rat wife so much.

He can kill or take over the oil companies as he did the auto companies ..later..

He out to be getting some lazy butts in Washington stirred up and down on the scene, protecting the ecology they claim to be so worried about.
As Rahm Emanuel said ..never waste a good crisis...  An ecological crisis is just what the Marxist commisars would order, so perhaps the incidenty should be investigated..by a third party..not aligned with the BHO mob.

Actually it's very doubtful that Solomon had anything to do with the writing of Ecclesiastes, but it is not vanity at the end of life, it is thru out life that vanity make a fool of one, which is layman's terms for: "believing your own BS".
I have noticed many times that the BSer has a tendency to abandon vanity at the end of his or her life, in favor of, reality and truth.

JP Morgan said BP will fix it and the market upped their share price $1.50. Evidently JP knows more about experimental deep water disasters than anyone else. At least that's what the suckers ... I mean investors think.

What is the crime? The spill itself or criminal neligence in response to the disaster. The former is tough to prove as this by consensus was an experimental operation. The latter, well that would establish a precedence for LA to sue Obama for obstruction.

Nope; never expected him to act any  different with any corporation !  After all, corporations, free enterprise, constitutionalists, people who actually work, and "bitter clingers" are to him, "the enemy"...
And surely, after genuflecting to some politicians and all Arab potentates, i wouldn't suppose he has any "genu' left in his "flecting" repertoire !   ;) :D ;D ::)

I don't think anyone is beefing about Obama's response to BP.  It is his LACK of response to sending dredges for sand berms, and getting hay and other methods out to help along the shoreline.  He's just been having parties in the White House.

If the charges you list are legitimate, Does it not smack of hypocrisy when one of the suspects is in charge of the investigation? Or rather conflict of interest? Perhaps the ICC would be best suited for this, afterall Obama does want us to be subject to that court, right? Again, precedence would work against him. Where could LA file suit against the President personally for criminal negligence? Or all the other gulf states? What about the fishermans union?

Hope you're holding onto your BP stock, JP Morgan says it's all good. ;D

Breach of promise, breach of contract, falsification of documents, false representation, lieing to federal agents, criminal and willful negligence in operation of an extraction site on public and common land and waters, violation of laws of the sea, gross pollution of public waters and estaurine resources while misrepresenting risks and ability to abate or control possible emergencies; violations of US wildlife regulations, failure to perform, failure to cover losses....criminal and conspiratorial intent to the foregoing.

Government failure to conform/enforce  environmental regulations, failure to regulate an enforce codes or to inspect per regulations...conspiracy and collusion with corporate BP to defraud the US public and endanger the Gulf peoples and the Nation at large.

That's for starters...that's why they have lawyers to tighten this up and get specific and use the language......overall there is a Conscience of Guilt on all parties.

[/quote]

Come on now TM,  do we know all of this to be true? Or are you just insinuating because you hate big oil companies.
Don't you have any blame to pass out to the wacko environmentalists? After all they are the ones that have pushed oil companies out in the ocean so far that they have to drop a mile of drill pipe before they hit anything that resembles sand or rock. I'm betting oil companies would rather drill in 200 feet of water or less. Preferably dry land.
Accidents happen, and I figure the chances for an accident, increase a bunch when drilling for oil under a mile of water. Just because this accident happened doesn't mean that BP did everything wrong. Stuff happens that humans have no control over.
When something like this happens its always pretty easy to point fingers before all the facts are known. Just look at how well Obama does at this. Its actually one of his better distinguishing qualities.

DDZ, been thinking this pretty much the whole time...not only that but the government probably leased them that spot, they ain't allowed to drill anywhere they want.  Push em out to the deep sea and gripe cause it's hard to plug a leak that deep...ain't that the way it goes.  Government makes all the rules to begin with, and then points the fingers, got to have bad guys.

100 lawyers...Columbo could have solved the problem all by himself.  ;D  Anyways...100 lawyers goes pretty much hand in hand with how they think up there, took em 14 trillion to save us all.   ;)

Now the people can see Obama does not walk on water...Even after he promised on national TV he could take care of any disaster faster than Bush.
Well, I don't expect him to be able to plug the hole any more than Bush could have talked a bunch of idiots in another State to use their heads with a storm coming, but the arrogence of our president, the things he says, and the politics he uses shows we don't have a man in charge. That's the sad fact.

Wonder what our government got in royalties from BP for letting them drill there.  Seems everyone has a role in this eh?
