What is the farthest distance you have ever shot a groundhog with what gun?
My personal best is 328 yards with a tikka M595 223.

I paced off 118 yards with a .50 calibre CVA Mountain Rifle...Open sights.  8)

296 yards with a Savage 10FP heavy barrel 223. Winchester white box 45gr hp. BSA 8X32X50 AO Mil Dot set on 16X. Don't have many feilds in my area over 350 yards.

 :) 424 yards with .22-250 Rem. Varmiter laminated stock, and a 6.5-20 Leupold scope with dot from 200-600 yards...the bullet was a 50 grain Vmax over a good charge of H4895......

About 500 yards with a Remington SPS Varmint 243 with the 26" barrel. I was using the Hornady factory 58 grain V-Max that was Molly coated. I have taken 2 at about that range and 500 yards is way out there. I would have never even tried either shot if I was not so bored and had nothing closer to shoot at. I had a Mueller 8.5x25x44 scope on that rifle at the time. Dale

Lasered 415 yards.  Using Remington 700 LTR .223 pictured below with suppressor using Black Hills 50 gr V-Max moly (blue box).  Groundhog on far right, headshot with first trigger squeeze on it.  The bloody one is from the Ruger 96/17 in 17Hm2 at 80 yards.  Had some near misses at around 600 on a windy day, bit didn't connect.  LTR can shoot 1.5" at 300 yds  with solid rest, load mentioned, and well rested shooter.  I thought i could read the wind better, but learned I needed more practice.
