I echo the thoughts of others in that if your rifle isn't a custom rig, bullet differences are minimal. But.....that doesn't mean that they don't make a difference. If cost were not an issue, I'd use only bergers, I get my best groups and best consistency using them across the board with all but one of my .223 cal rifles. One rifle in particular, a Rem 700 VLS, absolutely loves Sierra # 1310's, they're just an inexpensive value varmint bullet, 45gr, flat based spitzer, nothing special at all, but those bullets shoot leaps and bounds better than any other bullet I've tried, I'm talking .4-.5 with minimal effort and usually .2's and such with careful loading, selected brass, every round trickled up and mic'd. Sure it's a moot point for those differences and the dogs don't seem to tell the difference, just something else to keep busy, idle hands and all. I see on here that many folks speak highly of Nosler, I've never cared for them, I don't know why but I can't get them to shoot as good as other bullets in any rifle or pistol I own, really not even close. I'm not bashing on them, got nothing against em, just been my experience, plus they're expensive as compared to Hornady and Sierra.
