It makes sense that no one would stand out, except at their specialty. The young kid (Kelly I think his name is) seems to really be on the ball though. He seems to have natural talent but more than that seems to understand the importance of discipline and technique,at least in the three I episodes I saw. Essentially, the recurring theme with handguns and bows was,the instructor tells him what to do,and he does exactly that, and performs credibly. Its disappointing that we didn't get to see much of him with long guns, but in the challenge, his experience and skill showed. One thing I noticed was that the red team seems to be getting all the camera time. Its all about them and you hardly see the blue team. I guess they put all the idiots that think they are gods gift to marksmanship on the same team, needed one more to fill it and said, hey, lets put this kid here too,he will add some variety.
I have to say, that challenge between the guy that allways whines about his equipment (its not like they don't all use the SAME equipment,in fact,in the pistol competition which he SHOULD have done well in,everyone used the same gun.so who cares if the sights were worn, everyone was handicapped the same) and the idiot who couldn't get over a dumb-ass it was sort of a let down because your happy whoever is gone. Honestly, part of being an adult is knowing that sometimes,no matter how much someone rubs you the wrong way,you just have to shut up and live with it because maybe they are the bosses son,or maybe they just have skills that you really need. It doesn't matter. Someone who was the more mature of the two would have realized that the real payback would have been winning the $100K. Honestly though, few of those people seem to have the mental discipline to be truly exceptional at anything.
