What is it worth?mm
« on: June 11, 2010, 05:36:10 AM »
I listed my blue and walnut TC Encore for sale or trade on the Encore classified and thought I was pricing it a well under fair market value so it would sell quickly, but that must not be.  It is the standard frame and stocks that I bought new at Cabella's in Sidney, NE. a couple years ago.  Then I bought a new blued TC Prohunter  28" fluted barrel chambered in 204Ruger and then recently traded for a standard taper TC 24" blue barrel with sights in 7mm08.  The trigger on this outfit is nearly perfect and the only detraction from calling this perfect condition is the underside of the forearm has marks from where frame on my tril-pod front rest pad wasn't doing proper job.  This happened on the rifles maiden voyage to the range.  The 204 barrel is very accurate but I haven't messed with the 7/08 much since I acquired it.  I put a $600 shipped price on the whole outfit and it hasn't recieved much interest.  Is it overpriced or is it not desired because it is not stainless steel?  What do you think ?

Not with two barrels, I'll bet. Good price, but limited because of the caliber combo. Some folks want .204's, some want 7mm-08's Not many want both. Split 'em up is good advice.
