I haven't used them myself but it seems I've read good things somewhere. Just can't remember where. Might have been Handloader or Rifle mags.

I have used Leadhead bullets in 45Colt.  I shot some 335 grain GC bullets at 1292 ft/sec and some 270 grain Keith bullets at around 1050 ft/sec from my Ruger Vaquero.  They are made in St. Johns, KS. which is not far from me.  I like his bullets better than any I have found so far and the only complaint I have with them, which is the same complaint with all commercially cast bullets, is they are too hard.  His prices are very competitive in my opinion.

P.S.  I read that Leadhead made a contract with Cor-bon as their supplier of bullets IIRC.

Leadhead is in fact the choice manufacturer of cast lead bullets for several companies, myself as well as Corbon use them. They are excellent in all calibers that I have used them in, and for the fit and finish they are very under priced. You'll not go wrong using them.
