Some folks would say that with another buckeye on here, the list is going down hill <BG>
My screen name is Ohio Rusty, and I live rural in the appalachian hill country of Southeast Ohio. Some of you may know me from other Muzzleloading and self-sufficiency lists on the net. I'm 55, a wife, no kids and a herder of cats. I like anything outdoors. The Wife and I do 18th century Ohio historical reenacting and we both shoot flintlocks. I also like pellet rifles, cap-n-ball pistols and snub nose revolvers. I have my concealed carry permit, and I either have with me a Ruger LCR .38 with 110 gr. hollowpoints or a Keltec 380 with .102 grain Golden sabres in the magazine. I do some limited reloading for both calibers, and do alot of lead melting and casting for muzzleloaders, smokeless pistol bullets and fishing jigs.
My favorite jig is the pony head style (roadrunner) that I can paint and dress up for max fish catching ability. I also enjoy gardening and plain old porch sittin' if I ever have a minute to do that. I work alot (6 days a week), and I relish my free time when I get it.
The wife and I also do metal detecting. She has a Whites Prizm 6T and I have a Garrett Master Hunter CX plus. I went outside of my work for a few minutes today at lunch and found a silver dime, three pennies and a silver bead lost from a piece of jewelry sometime in the past. I'll add that to our little box of 'finds'.
Thanks for letting me join, and it looks like I have lots of different places on here I can contribute in the future..
