Red dot/Holo scope for Mini-30

Does anyone shoot a Mini-30 with a red dot or holo scope? If so what brand. I want to install one on a Mini-30 but have heard horror stories about the recoil wreaking havoc with certain scopes. I am trying to stay in the $250 and under range (but those EOTECs look sweet).

check out the vortex strikefire. Ive been using one for about a year now and its a great optic (so far) and at a 150 bucks is a bargin in my opinion. It compares real favorably to a 500 dollar aimpoint with the only big differnce in battery life. But battery life is still better then most of the cheap ones and the eotecs. They make two models. Make sure you buy the red only one as the one that has a changeable dot (red green) is a bit dim in bright light.

Bingo. I can't find a believable negative review of this thing anywhere. Thank you so very much. Hopefully I will save about $400. Where do you want the check mailed to?

Order a buffer from Accuracy Systems that will take care of the recoil induced scope wreckage.
