Can you imagine what the reaction would be if a Republican had done this?

That pig should be locked up never to see the light of day again. Who does he think he is? What gives him the right to assualt a citizen and not face any consequences?

"Who are you??"

What does it matter jerk? Perhaps you were unaware but we as U.S. citizens have the right to question our elected officials without fear of reprisal.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

Looks like a set up to me. The guy with the spray bottle taken away from him must have anticipated a problem. They would have been the ones to press charges. I wonder if they got scared off or  paid off.

While I am not fond of Democrats OR Republicans, I don't think I would be too happy if an unknown guy, college age or not, accompanied by a camera guy, walked up and stuck a microphone in my face, and started askin questions. There is a right way, and a wrong way, of doing things, and ambushing someone is not the right thing to do.
Whether a congressman, senator, or just a regular guy walkin down the street, one has no idea whom the stranger with the microphone is, or what his intent is.
I would have personally kept walking, and told the guy to get the mic out of my face, or suffer the physical consequences. I don't know when folks started thinking that they could treat other folks this way, and not expect consequences.

I don't know about the "not in the news" part I have seen it on TV and on most search engines.

I have a feeling assault charges are coming soon. Freedom of the press is also in the Bill of Rights.

If a Republican had done the same thing, it would have been front page on all the papers the next day and the lead story on all TV and radio that night.  NBC and affiliates, CBS and affiliates, etc didn't pick it up for quite a while, and then played it as 1 inch, page 16 under the hemrroid cream ad, or the 10 second filler between the last weather blurb and the sign off.

Come on Dee!..........The Sen. grabbed this kid by the wrist, and then around the neck. He had NO right putting his hands on him. I cannot believe you of all people can not see the wrong in this.
