I have a Stevens 200 in 308 win and it was a sub MOA shooter right out of the box with both Wolf and Reminton core lokt. I've heard the Edge doesn't have the greatest trigger. The only advantage the Edge has in my mind over the Stevens is that it has a detachable magazine.
