I wonder how much shrapnel is being thrown around with that thing. I would have to be at least 25yrds from it to even try it. Behind cover preferably. I'd hate to have that steel rod sticking out front come back at me.

It is one of the coolest things for an AR I've ever seen though.

The really unique thing is that does not endanger those inside the building. Unless of course you are standing to close to the door.

It can't come back at you.
The rod is in front of the explosive.  Even a small 5 oz charge will have that rod moving away at a high speed.
Also the design of the rod is so it will catch the blast wave and move it forward.  The large button on the front will act as a sail to catch the blast but not so much as to get it moving the same speed as the explosive.
