breech plug grease

OK guys, I'm new to this inline stuff. Been shooting sidelocks for years, but recently decided to try playing with a Remington 700ML. My question is, what is the best thing to use on the breech plug threads to keep them from seizing up? Thanks!

I use a small amount of silver anti seize. Not sure if it is right or wrong but it works never had any problems.

 I've used a little of everything, Gorilla grease, teflon tape, & some of the BP/choke tube greases. I think the main thing is to use SOMETHING, don't over-tighten the plug, & REMOVE it regularly for cleaning/ re-lube.

This is what I use in my Savage in line. Perfect results. Designed for hot engine parts like spark plugs.

+3 on the tape, you'll never have a problem removing a plug after the tape has been used properly, keep the fouling out of the threads and the plug is as easy to remove as it was to install.  ;)

same grease I use on my shot gun chokes. You should remove them after a days shooting and clean and put on a new coat of choke grease. Don't over tighten

Buy a tube of silver anti seize for 3 bucks, it will last a life time.

Use it on your spark plugs too.

 found an old dust covered tube of KY jelly in the draw....not only does it work on the breech plug,it also got me more than a 150 fps increase when i swabbed the barrel with it ... ;D

ya that stuff werks wonders on my "barrel" too! wonder if it would work on a c&b revolver lol
