There is an Ace Hardware in Sauk City I think it is that has always been advertising lots of gun stuff. There is a Gander closer but I usually pass those.

take hwy 12 south from the dells, past the casino. in Baraboo there is a gander mtn on the left hand side of hwy12. Ace hardware in Sauk city does have some guns too, But I live in Sauk and usually prefer the gander in baraboo. -460, I think you mean Chubby's but don't ask how I know...

You are correct. I personally only know about it cause my oldest son worked there as a bouncer. The GM in Baraboo is pretty good for a small town GM, but last time we were down there on the bike there was major road construction between the Dells and Baraboo on U.S. 12. If the O.P. has the  time, the best gun shop in the immediate area for gun selection and price would be Moe's Hardware Hank in Black River Falls. Walkin' in there is like goin' back in time.

I'll have to check that out. I have breakfast at Perkins in BRF almost every Saturday on the way up to the cabin. Maybe I'll take the time to go downtown sometime.

Don't be fooled thinkin' their gun inventory is all on the wall. I have yet to ask about a gun that they couldn't go down in the basement and bring up.
