Ruger 32/20 Blackhawk

Howdy Everyone,
Have had this blackhawk for sometime now.It has a 32 H&R cylinder and a 32/20 cylinder.
Do any of you now what size of bore ruger used in these guns.
I have load some 308 cal bullets in 32/20 shells.The bullets seem to be getting a good fit in the barrel.I am getting a little over 1700 fps with a 130 gr bullet.
Thought maybe ruger used the same barrel as the 30 carbine blackhawk?

Hi;

I believe you're refering to a .32 Blackhawk made specially for Buckeye Sports quite a few years ago.  I'm pretty sure that they used a .312" bore size.  I have a .32 Mag Ruger, and I too have had pretty good luck with SOME bullets that were .308 diameter, especially Hornady's 100 gr Short Jacket.  They theoretically shouldn't group, but do.  The short jacket usually separates from the core if used on falling plates and kind of flutters to the ground.
