Does NEF/H&R made a Tranquilizing dart rifle based on the Handi Rifle? I was watching Bear Island on PBS tv and thought I spotted a guy assembling the forend of the Handi Rifle.

Sure would be handy for some of the pest around my house.
Dart them and haul them off.

You see them from time to time on Gun Broaker as a 32 gauge dart gun same way with the old 45/70 marine line guns they are cool to. Kurt

If you get a nighttime intruder you could still dart them with a 45-70 or a 12 gauge and then cart them off, it might leave a little bit of a mess to clean up but it would still work....<><....

H&R makes the shotgun, but a company called Palmer Cap-Chur Inc. makes the blank adaptor that fits in the chamber. It's called the Extra Long Range Projector and there's a link below see it online. You have to scroll down to see it. They make a a Blank Adaptor that fits in to a stock shotgun barrel. You can see the blank adaptor & its parts at the 2nd link below. They work with .22 blanks, and they sell different .22 blanks designed to shoot the projectiles at different distances. They get $443.52 for one and it comes with some practice syringes. You cannot buy the adaptor or parts because they only sell to law enforcement and animal control agencies.
