You didn't expect people who make their living liquidating baby boys & girls to be honest, did you ? If so, you had best check out Planned Parenthood;

I haven't heard anything in the news latley on the fine fellow that sent Tiller the baby killer to hell. I am hoping that the people on the jury find him not guilty. I would love to be on that jury.

Pre-born babies - no such thing.  What emotional claptrap, tugging on the heartstrings of those who would never travel to Japan to watch mothers practice gender specific infanticide by simply leaving their newborns on pathways in their forested gardens, only to have the bodies swept up like trash; or to China where mothers or mid-wives simply drown the infants if they are girls, or deformed, or apprantly disabled, or to any of the 3rd and 4th world nations where sickly infants are simply thrown to the streets to die, or to war torn nations where they are used as fodder or shields.

I guess that we, the wealthiest nation in the world, can spend all the money we can soak from the taxpayers to continue to provide for those who could not survive on their own and continue to support those so terribly disabled that one must really consider the value of life for someone who requires total care to even breathe.  Yes, I know, Mozart had syphillus and someone else's mother was a prostitute or their father a alcoholic and look at what we would have missed if their parents had taken a different approach.

The next time someone wants to complain about abortion they should ask a woman how she feels when offered the 'option' to either continue to live her life and hope for a better 'outcome' with the next pregnancy or to continue with what she knows will be a life of servitude and disability.

And you have to realize that unless you fathered the child or are the future birth mother of a child that tests have shown will be disabled, it is none of your danged business and certainly none of your responsibility to burden those people with a life they choose not to be burdened by.  Simply none of your business and if you want to join those who kneel in prayer outside the doors of a planned parenthood building you can go right ahead - that is your right - but forcing someone to accept your beliefs and into a life burdened by disability or servitude is about as talibanish as I can think.  jmtcw

Mikey;
  "pre-born babies, no such thing"..great abortuary spin, but most people are not fooled. It is interesting that if a certain woman means to keep it, it is called a "baby"..but if another one intends to kill it, it is called a "fetus".
  That baby in there has a different blood type and DNA than it's carrier. At 10 weeks it has it's own individual fingerprints..certainly it is a baby..what do you think it is..a woodchuck ? Or maybe a Toyota ?
  If the carrier host mother is carrying a male baby...and you say it is not a baby..what is the carrier then..a hermaphrodite ?
       Let's be real, just because in Japan, according to you, they desert children in the woods, or in China they drown them..are you recommending that for our country ? Perhaps you don't already realize that in the "saline solution" abortion, the one making the big bucks sucks out most of the amniotic fliud and replaces it with salt water..leaving the little boy or girl to drown while breathing in painful, killing salt water..we're almost there already, huh ?
  If we face facts, the greatest percentage of abortions here are no more noble than in China, where they simply don't want the girls..they a matter of "inconvenience"..
          You say we waste money on "those who could not survive on their own"..think a moment...that means ALL babies.. :P

    As far as caring for the disabled,; such is the hallmark of a civilized society. Where would we be if we took every grandma who became somewhat silly, every young person with spinal cord severed in a motorcycle accident and all who come down with debilitating MS, Parkinson's or the extreme of any other disease..and simply execute them ? Would we still be "civilized" ?

  Your statement concerning  "fathered a child or birth mother of a child that tests show"... Did you see that spot during the Super Bowl which featured the Heisman Trophy winner and his loving Mom ?   Did that speak to you at all ?
  I also know some of those Downs syndrome children and believe me, they are not a "waste" fit only for elimination...

   Let's face it, there are some genuine heart wrenching decisions to be made upon occasion, but most abortions are performed for women who just don't want the inconvenience and by men who want to shirk their natural responsibility...and often, neither one wants to forsake a sinful lifestyle..
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Yes, spot on.
Sad that, those who have life, cannot appreciate those, who believed life to be precious enough to give them life.
That those , who devalue life, are also capable of dishonesty, does not surprise me at all.

I am torn on this subject. I am generally against abortion, but I think it should be legal for parents of kids that are going to be deformed ,and screwed up to the point that They can never lead a normal productive life.
   I see all the time where some one is suing a school to have their screwed up kid in classes with the regular kids. I don't think this dose anyone any good. Not the screwed up kid or the regular kids. It is just a drain of funds for no good purpose other than a feel good `thing.
   If someone chooses to have a kid like that they should be responsible for all costs for that kid, and not get a dime of tax payer money to subsidize them.

I haven't heard anything in the news latley on the fine fellow that sent Tiller the baby killer to hell. I am hoping that the people on the jury find him not guilty. I would love to be on that jury.
Scott Roeder was convicted of murder several months ago and given the "Hard 50" or 50 years in prison without the possibility for parole.  It was the maximum sentence available by law since the case did not meet the requirements for a capital case.

I have not heard much since then although the KC Star had an article a few weeks ago mentioning that he had a pro-se habeas motion dismissed regarding jail conditions and other complaints.  I assume his appeals are working their way up the system but I think I would know if the Kansas Court of Appeals had issued a ruling.

I hate to point out the fact that women have babies form one act. They know its a fact of life. So to destory a baby after having sex seems wrong since if she and the father were not willing to raise the child they should not have made one . It was their choice ! I'm not sorry I feel this way as it makes more sense to not concive a child than to destory one after a few moments of pleasure with out regard for others. And don't even think rape here we are talking choice to have sex then walk away . As far as that suggestion of a better life later with a different child That has to be one of the dunbest ideas i have ever heard if eithe the father or mother has any morals or consince.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
