Another Floridian

Just wanted to say "hello" from SWFL.  I don't have a lot of time on the site as of yet, but who knows.  I am interested in turning my own cannons, mortars etc. with the mini-lathe.  I have been turning wood, acrylics and soft metals with a wood-lathe for some time, but just got a metal lathe about 7-8 months ago.  Not saying I'm a bit burned out on pens, knobs etc, but this new interest may give me some more enjoyable man-cave time.  Any direction y'all can give me would be greatly appreciated.  I did do a quick search last night when I activated my membership, but that's about all.

Thanks to all.  No kidding the cannon and mortar board is chock full of info.  Now that I have all sorts of questions, I might as well get over there and start posting.
