Difference between K98 action & Yugo 98 Action

I'm going to get a replacement stock but would like to know the difference between the Routine K98 Action Vs Yugo 98 type action ? Stock I have on it now looks like a K98 Mauser and has the words Produce 1944 on the left sidde of the receiver.

Your 98 with the words PREDUZE 44 is either a Yugo M48/48A that has a 98 action which is about 1/4" shorter than the K98 action or you have a VZ/CZ 24/47 or 24/52.  I believe the VZ rifles are the full size (not magnum) length 98s - I believe the were the VZ24 that was either rebarrelled in 1952 at the PREDUZE 44 (factory), hence the VZ/CZ 24/52.  I'm not certain but I believe the VZ/CZ 24/47, if with a bent bolt, may have the same length action as the M48/48A; if it has a straight bolt it is the same length as the VZ 24 or the K98. 

I hope some of the other guys will correct me if I'm wrong.  Hope this helps.  Oh yeah, if it is the shorter M48/48A action you would want to order a stock for that rifle, not the longer K98.

If your rifle looks like a german k98, with a short handguard in front of the rear sight, it probably is. The Yugo's reworked a lot of k98's post war and ground the receivers (usually, but there are exceptions still wearing German codes/dates), stamped their crest, and the name of the rework facility (as in Preduzece44) on the side of the receiver. Does your say 'mod 98' on the siderail? If so, it's a k98 rework. Their reworks are usually good shooters, as they rebarreled all of them (8mm), and a lot were restocked.
