I am First Nation, Cherokee. You know how First Nation Peoples were conquered? Europeans occupied our land, took away our customs, our religion and our languages. Deprived us of our ways of life. Sound familiar? Watched the news lately? Read a paper? Things have come full circle.

It boils down to your tribe lost the war. You accepted the treaties offered but they were just lies. Your nation, all the tribes, fought bravely and well. Will the new tribe, all us common folk, fight bravely and well? it is yet to be seen.

If a strategy to win with the vote isn't successfull is there a will among the people to stand in another war of men against governments? Many of the soilders that fought the people of this land did not agree with thier assignment. Will all the humans, that don't agree with the rulers that remove us from being people and shape us to be numbered units, join to resist what is being forced on us. Many talk bravely but will they stand in front when the future of thier children and grand childern is at stake and each mans life is on the line?

Do we have the courage to push for such a confrontation if the victory by vote isn't won easily?

All we can do is wait and see who will step up and who will make excuses and hide. Your heart can be free as long as you have courage. Those without courage have no life to preserve. They are dead already.

We lost many battles but the war still rages on. It is a war of survival. Survival of our lives, our customs, ceremonies and religions. Survival of a way of life. None of our Nations accepted a treaty willingly. You don't merely accept something that is forced upon you. But you are right,  all of us reside in the same Nation called the United States and the old saying, " United we stand, devided we fall!" still rings very true. There is another saying as well. One of my Nation, " You can bet your a** I won't go quietly, making a noise in this world!" My whole point is that what was, and still is, being done to us.....is now being done to you. You can either learn from the past or be doomed to repeat it.

YEP, all true. Libs are like a cancer and spreading, kinda like the illegals and ishmaelites. Without libs, the other problems would end quickly. POWDERMAN.

I would have to agree with eddie in part. The problem isn't the liberals. The problem is the American. "He settles for less and less" each election and "never takes the blame, or responsibility, for getting less". He always blames someone else.

I do think it is the liberals, the country haters, and the communists that think if we are all equal we will all be happy.
The Liberals have taking Mao's the trip of a thousand miles starts with one step comment and have turned it into small victories.
If they can move the country one inch at a time to thier idea of utopia no matter the cost they will.
Look at the leadership.  If someone on the right does something wrong the right says so, and ofcourse the left will too.
If someone on the left does something wrong, as long as they are moving the cause forward they are given a pass, made excusses, and what have you.
Look at Clinton, He was accused of rape and the NOW group gave him a pass.  But one Rep. Senator asked out a couple staff members that said no and he droped it was run out of town by the NOW group for "the seriousness of the charge" of Sexual harrasment.
The Media is on board with the nanny state and will not print or show the truth.
