Took my daughter shootin this afternoon and video taped a short clip of her shoot my Saiga 223.  The part y'all might like is what I did with the video once I got home and did some editing.

Make her stand up straighter, not lean back, and pull her hand back some on the fore end. That will make her more stable and relaxed.  But good that you are getting her out to the range like that.

Nice titles too.  Who is that singing Bonnie Blue Flag?

I shot that clip of her when she first started shooting.  Then I used it to help improve her stance and from.  She was realy getting into it by the end of our session. :)

Thanks guys!  I really enjoyed taking my kids shooting over the years. Now that they both have grown up, we don't get the time as often, so this was a special day.  I really enjoyed playing with the video afterwards as well, more to pick at my wife than anything else, she's a yankee by birth.  Even though she has really come around over the 28 years we been married, I remind her every now and then she's a yankee.. :D

Hawk, I married a yankee too. Had to leave the state to make sure I didn't marry kinfolk! I don't tease mine too much about being yankee. She shoots too good now.

Yep that was one of the mistakes I made, teach my wife how to shoot......;)  We did some shootin last week where she was shootin my 1860 Army and now she thinks it is her's.  I filmed her shootin so when I get a chance to do some editing, I'll post it up.
