Beef, salt, pepper, skewers, hot coals.  Sounds good to me.

If you want to get fancy, try some ground coriander, a touch of cumin, and a tiny pinch of cinnamon in olive oil to baste with.

I would really like to find a sweet tasting marinade. Salt and pepper are good but going that route, I might as well just cook a steak

Lastnight I used sweet bell peppers, cubed beef and pineapple. I would have used onion but I didnt have any on hand. Eh maybe I should just try some teriyaki and brown sugar on the beef..

Ah! Now we have more information.  First, brine your beef.  Water, salt, brown sugar, a touch of pepper, then cube it and marinade in Catalina dressing for an hour or so.  Skewer and grill. Or try a marinade with a yogurt and honey base.

DO NOT mix the meat and veggies on the same skewer.  If you want skewered and grilled veggies, do them on their own skewers.  Meat and veggies have such different cooking times that it almost always leads to problems.

Yup. I don't like raw veggies with my meat. I pre-cook them a little in a pan before skewering them with the meat.

 That's good. I also like a honey/soy sauce mix.

If you cup the bell pepper and onion around peices of meat that they cover pretty well and cook it a little slow and baste it often the vegies will do ok. Tomato meat against the meat gives it a good flavor. eddiegjr
