Pawn Stars BB Mortar
« on: June 30, 2010, 12:56:36 PM »
They had a BB mortar on Pawn Stars last night. They shot it and I believe he gave the owner $9000 for it.

Not having seen it (I don't watch TV except when cleaning rifles), having heard about it, there was a real difference between asked and paid prices.

Wonder if I could get that much?   :D

I think if all you guys loaded up your mortors and headed to LV the price would go down as more and more of you showed up to sell what cost you 2K to make for 6K.
They bought it thinking they could sell it for 10 to 15K.  If they don't sell if for that then they will not offer the 6500 for the next one.

I think they are in for a surprise...it didn't look that great to me and their expert called it a Coehorn.

The barrel construction, if done with the right materials doesn't look that bad.  The carriage is bad and doesn't support the barrel by other than the trunnion which are marginally small.
