Today i gave away a 20 ga single shot breech load shotgun. Cut down to 18" barrel, 34" total, and just at 4 1/2 pounds. I gave it to a 15 year old Navajo neice by marriage after getting permision from her parents. She has quite a few blood relatives up on the reservation land where she was born north of Gallup. I put a lot of work in it and am still trying to figure out how to download pictures to this forum. She left about an hour ago with her grandparents walking about six inches off the ground. I felt great and thought I had gotten away clean on this one until my wife came up a couple minutes ago leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Are we going into Prescott tomorrow to pick up that single shot H&R shotgun you have a deposit on?" I asked how she knew, her reply, " You kept most of the 20ga ammo and you have had more fun rebuilding that peice of junk than you ever did shooting it." So I fessed up and said yeah, it wasn't a deposit, I paid for it and just haven't picked it up yet. I had to, this one's an H&R.
