Xtra Tuf boots making to go over seas

Why post in Alaska Hunting?  As far as I'm concerned I think Xtra Tuf boots are one of the best boots for hunting in much of Alaska if you don't need hip boots. And many many Alaskan commercial fishermen wear them. From the Anchorage Daily News.

Honeywell International will be moving production of its renowned XtraTuf boots from Illinois overseas -- probably China -- next year, but that should not be a worry for the many Alaska devotees of the tall, durable rubber footwear. KCAW-FM in Sitka sent a crew down to the harbor to gauge fishermen's reaction to the news that the big "Made in the USA" logo on every XtraTufs box will disappear. Damn!  Another one going overseas.  I thought O'Bama promised on the campaign trail to stop the hemorhage of jobs overseas?  Probably had his fingers crossed like with all the other promises he made!

I think I'll try to get a pair while they are still USA made.  My last pair wore out with a thousand miles or so on them.
