CZ 452 just as accurate if not more and a 150 dollars or so less than the ruger.

Blackbird612,

First let me Welcome you to Graybeard Outdoors, the best forum on the net for hunters/shooters.

gilly,

The really great thing about the Ruger 10/22 is with all the after market items available you can turn it into whatever pleases you.  Really make it YOUR rifle, unlike any other that other hunters may have.  Lawdog

Bass Pro now has a CHRISTmas sale for around $130 for the 10/22. I would get the CZ and an extra $20! ha ha J/K.
Cheers,

Haha......my fault I was recently looking at the 77 and have the 452........somehow must have mis-read the information.  Haven't shot a 10/22.....sorry for my mis-information.

Last summer I did three rim fire squirrel projects, a 10/22 with lots of bells and whistles, a CZ 452 Style and a Savage 93R17-FV. I like using all three and really like the .17 best, not because it is better just more fun. It is truly a 100 yard squirrel gun. BUT both of the 22s’ will put the squirrels on the ground. All that being said the one I grab most isn’t in that bunch at all. I usually have a scoped T/C Contender with a BullBerry 14 inch match 22LR barrel. I just like handguns better.
Love those .41s'
