well i love my 454 casulls the best, i have 45 colt, 44 mag, have had 460's (double action) and .475 linebaugh and the casull is very very very easily loaded down to 45LC levels for sub 1000fps loads and is accurate there, can run and do everything a .44 can do in the 1100 to 1400fps areas with 240 to >300grain bullets but can also go wild and i can do everything with mine that i could with a .475 and there's nothing i can't take with it so the bigger calibers don't add much. if you don't like the recoil of the stout loads then don't shootem, you can load down and get all the greatness of the 45 colt but you can ramp up and shoot up to 400 grain loads. it can perfectly suitable for plinking and deer to wild enough for end to end on a rhino as lynn thompson did and take an elephant on a frontal brain shot. what else do ya need?
