Mosin Nagant sporterized.

I cut and recrowned the barrel,parkerized it and camoed the stock and long eye relief scope.Shoots dead on for a $100 surplus..

not a big fan of the scout mounts on nagants. Had one on an M44. After 100 or so rounds it would vibrate loose, not matter how much Locktite I used, and lose zero.
I do like the camo job on the set-up.

Well the 10 dollar ebay mounts are trash. But I put on a Darrell's Scout Scope mount on a couple years ago, and it hasn't moved a microinch!

I have one of Darrell's mounts on my K31, and it is far better than the rest. They do not come loose.

I cut the stock and used the orginal russian scope mount for the sniper mosin nagant mainly because its rock solid.  I used the similair mount on my sks too its the pk mount.

I wish I had read this an hour ago.  I thought I was getting a deal when I found these on Overstock.com.  Must be the same ones.

Rock solid, but only 4 power. I prefer my 3X7 on the scout mount.

Yep, I bought a couple at Overstock at 10 bucks each. They're garbage that easily strip out. Still have one unused, and probably never will.
