Scope base and rings

Can anyone reccommend scope base and rings for a Marlin 62. I bought the Weaver for it a few years back and the 62 was included on the list among the various 336s and other lever action Marlins.Thanks and good luck. POW

For such an old rifle made in such limited quantities I doubt seriously you'll find anything but a Weaver base for it. IF you are sure it takes the same base as the 336 then your choices are a bit less limited but still the Weaver is as good as any for it and I like the way the Burris Zee Rings work with the Weaver bases.

The Weaver chart shows the Mod. 62 takes the same mounts as the Mod. 336.  In that case you should be able to use whichever mounts are available for the 336 on your 62.

Yes now that I have rechecked on availability I find that it is exactly as I remember. The mount for the 62 is the same as the mount for the 336. Leupold has it and this seems to be my choice because I have a 2-7 compact by Leupold to install. Thanks. POW
