Found another left hand rifle, and of course, I had to get it.

Remington CS 700 BDL left hand 8mm Magnum

Any love for the 8mm mag on here?

:D ::) John, very sharp rifle...I like the 8 mag. cases...they make excellent brass for my 340 Wea. at a very reasonable price......    ;D ::) While I like magnum rifles, I just neve owned an 8 mm mag.  guess I couldn't warm up to that European caliber...but it is a good one enjoy.....

I've hunted with one and it does the job quite nicely in the clear cuts of the Blackfoot drainage in Montana. A buddy used his to take a 6x6 bull at approx 320 yards, and it wandered about 10 feet and dropped.  Walked back to the truck, drove over, and there he was.  I took a huge Mulie at over 300 yards as well. I wouldn't use it for the brush, but when it comes to glassing clear cuts at dawn, I'd say its works!  Didn't seem to damage any more meat than a 300 or 338 mag.  They kick real solid, for sure. But so does my .338.

That one wasn't a lefty version, so I'm looking forward to using it correctly, with the works on the left side where it belongs!
