I've hunted with one and it does the job quite nicely in the clear cuts of the Blackfoot drainage in Montana. A buddy used his to take a 6x6 bull at approx 320 yards, and it wandered about 10 feet and dropped. Walked back to the truck, drove over, and there he was. I took a huge Mulie at over 300 yards as well. I wouldn't use it for the brush, but when it comes to glassing clear cuts at dawn, I'd say its works! Didn't seem to damage any more meat than a 300 or 338 mag. They kick real solid, for sure. But so does my .338.
That one wasn't a lefty version, so I'm looking forward to using it correctly, with the works on the left side where it belongs!
