slim, it has been a while since we talked on the phone, but I will recite a verse and chorus from a song I just finished writing day before yesterday, and will sing in church this Sunday morning. I belive it fits, and says it all. It is about a man whom visits a rest home and talks to an old stranger there. It's a verse and chorus not only of hope, but of truth, and I think you'll see that. Saturday I will cut it on a CD, and Sunday will be the first time anyone has every heard it, when I sing it with just a guitar. This is just a verse and a chorus of the song, but it fits this occasion as does the entire song, and remember the words of the chorus, because their true. Prayers for you and yours my friend.
Verse: And so I asked him what's your name ole man, he said they call me joe
My wife was here fore you woke me up, and Lord I miss her so
I dreamed that we were walkin, thru a field of fresh mowed hay
She wore that snow white dress I bought, the day she went away
Chorus:And soon I never more in this ole world will roam
And I never more, will ever, be alone
I'll hold her hand, and we'll run cross that field
And all my pain and sorrow, will be healed
We'll walk with Him, and talk with Him each day
Praise God alone, that we have found our way
