870 Magazine Follower

I have a 870 Express 20 Ga. that has a orange colored plastic magazine follower. It sticks a little bit on loading the first round. It looks like it is supposed to stop on the frame at the end of the magazine tube and is trying to over run the landing. Anyone else have this problem?

Metal followers are available as are aluminum and harder synthetics..replce the damaged follower..
