i've been checking many different brands. and the eley's are the best my 17m2 does.
how bout U-guys ??

When they first came out all the brands were made by the same folks.  I don't recall who that was supposed to be, or if that is still the case.

CCI used to make all 17hmr and 17M2 ammo in their Lewiston ID plant, dunno if they still do tho as Keith said.  I think Eley is the only one made by someone other than CCI now.  Remington used Eley priming in their 17M2 ammo at one time, but I don't think they offer 17M2 any more, they still offer 22Lr Eley primed ammo tho.

well i tried cci, hornady and others... none compare to the eley's 
they will shoot the 1/2" shoot'n see dot till its gone in about 10 shots.
and will dang near take a tree-rats head clean off @ 80 yrds 
my savage and blr won't even come close !!! ;D

I've seen it said before that Eley priming is their secret, very consistent shot to shot.  I've got some of the Eley 17M2 ammo, but have never shot any of it, but the discontinued Remington ammo, which is Eley primed, is the most accurate I've shot in my Sportster. Sorry to say my rimfires don't get shot much with range time at a premium.

Guys, these fine little Mach2's are really great little guns. I have never shoot any of the Eley ammo out of mine but I have read and reread that is by far the most accurate ammo made for the Mach2. Keep the Mach2 range and hunting reports coming, they are great to read!!!....<><....:)

Ouch!!! passing on a Mach 2, and with a scope, for $170, that must hurt, hopefully you may find another....<><....:)

With a thread like this it makes me doubt my decision of the time, which was, my .22RFs are all so affordable and user friendly. Think I'll go shoot one now.......

Yep mine like the Eley just fine.Tried the others,but I have six bricks of the Eley in the cabnet.I found they shoot faster and flatter than CCI,Hornady and Remington.

Had to show my gun again.Slow

I started with Eley and found it so accurate that I didn't feel

well, prooved it again this afternoon.... ;D
dang tree-rat think'n to try an get in the yard to chew up my house.....
after the fact i step'd off 80.5yrds. i have the hm2 sighted in for 50. goes ta show ya.... flat shooter !!
took the nog clean off wif tha eley's !!!
went just where i wanted it to go ;D
