Oh Boy !  #8 and 9 will have litter mates to play with tomarrow , Well ... that is if 8 can get out of the box .  This just may be the the thing needed to get 8 to come out of the "Box" .

Wouldn't you know it ..... There was so much excitement going on @CBCC II  # 8 and 9 stayed "In the Box" .
Mean while the Bowling Ball Mortar over shadowed all the "Little Guys "
I think BB Mortar #1 is just a school yard bully .
# 8 may forever be bound by fear and anxiety . And be doomed to a life on the back shelf .   :-\

Plus # 24  is just a glory hound , wanting it's picture taken with all the "Big Name "  guys    :-*
#9 is just healing up from a nasty knife scar from his coming out party .  Mr. Utility Knife thought  a bit of humility would be in order .
Darn , don't you hate the melodrama of a Corrupted wimpy little FC Cannon  afraid  of knives and Crackers ?
Left Handed people are in their right mind .

No.  24 will be going on a road trip in  March 2012.  The trip will route from Cut  Bank, over the hill to Kalispellthen St. Regis to Spokane and then down to the tri cities area of Washington.  From the tri-cities down to Oregon  and down the gorge to Portland , then down to Eugene and over to Florence. From Florence down to Medford and on into Corning, CA.  From Corning over the hills to  Nevada and down  through Las  Vegas to  Boulder City.  From  Boulder City straight north on highway 93 to Challis Idaho.

I think Intodeep is in the Las Vegas area, anyone else along the route.  Anybody know of any cannons along that route?

Has anyone drove highway 93  north for Boulder City to Idaho in  March?

Have y'all seen yet that somebody in Clearwater, FL has put their Krupp up on eBay, and linked this thread on the auction?

I'm literally a 1 min. walk from Clearwater, but no worries, it is #16 that is listed.  P4 is safely sitting where it belongs.

That's mine for sale. Extreme cash flow issues forces me to do this, it's a sad day.

If you had put it inthe  cannon classifieds You would have probably found that it would have sold rather quickly, and stayed with in the GBO Family.

If or when Ebay makes you pull it down list hit here.

I'm sure it would sell quickly here for the right price, but I prefer an auction format.

I do understand about the auction format, and don't blame you for going to that format.

Just a reminder to all, even to help our friend out,  posting of auction links is prohibitied here.  But if you go to Ebay and search  Krupp Cannon this one will come right up.

One of you guys buy this cannon and lets keep it in the  GBO family!!!

Sorry to see you have to part with it.  Since this is the first time one of these has hit the open market, it should be interesting to see how it goes, but I do agree that it would be nice to keep it in the GBO family.

I'd love to drop the cash for it, but I think I'd end up spending a night on the couch for each dollar. It was fun enough explaining the micro dahlgren and that hasn't been sent yet.

Sorry to hear about your cash flow problem, Soot. Been there before and sympathsize.  We agree it WILL BE interesting to see what these are really worth after all.  Hope you get big bucks, Soot.  Maybe we will decide to sell the next gun in the series this way and actually make a few nickels on them.  Naw, we couldn't do that to our GBO friends, well maybe just one before setting the GBO "Deal" price.  ;D ;D

Yes
Yes
Correct
Neither do I.

Gary. Come here and hold my beer; I HAVE TO ENLARGE THIS ANSWER TO Zulu.  I have a few thoughts on that "Fuse Problem" that they had in S.A.  Sorrow for the injured aside, that particular solution will never fly in the U.S.  Americans will give you little sympathy if you don't wait an appropriate period of time before going over to dig the old fuse out and emplace a new one.  Shooters  here are just a few notches shy of bikers on the independence meter.  I will very quickly tell anyone who attempts to fire my cannon for me to "Go Fish" in a most perjorative fashion.

The "If it will just save one life", crowd has no place on my range, ever!  You MUST be responsible for your actions, period.  NO excuses!

Now looky here's you's ! I have never and I mean ...nearly never ...or so ,chained a man to his oar . That would be a cruel fate ......

Tracy was chained to the anchor instead . It was closer than an oar . I do think I have an oar ,but they cost money .

An anchor is like a renewable resource  ;D  . You can fetch it up and down , 15 mins down and 3 up to switch wrists .

"trying to relax " Tracy ? If you were any more relaxed ...you'd be dead .

Yes George. I thought of that.  I use to have some friends down in Oceanside and would have gone there if they were still alive...I am at the age now where a good many friend are no longer, such is life...
