hey fellows I have a friend who has an early 70's 1895 45/70 it is pre-warning on the barrel and is absolutly mint. It was bought unfired and has less than a box ran through it. What's something like this bringing on the market now?

It was bought unfired and has less than a box ran though it !! So You mean it is indeed in very good shape having only a few rounds through it .It is then like the new car that mother only drove to church sundays .

Having been fired means it has been fired . Does not matter if fired once or more .

I would think 400.00 plus thinking it is mint with only a few scratchs .

That seems pretty cheap if it has the straight stock, 1/2 mag tube, and/or a BO prefix on the serial number.
