Rexio single shot parts?
« on: July 13, 2010, 03:35:55 PM »
I need some small parts for the Rexio single shot 22 (RC22, aka Comanche 22)  Anybody have them or have a lead I may follow to them?  Thanks.

I am thinking you will probalby have to make them up, not too many of those around for parts.  What parts are broken/missing?  Larry

I need a trigger and hammer.  Transfer bar may be salvagable but if I can find a place that stocks parts I'll get that too.

Someone did a 'trigger job' on one to make it more betterer.  I've never seen worse work.  This Bozo should have his file confiscated.  I just want to replace the whole firing system and start fresh.  It did occur to me that I may be cutting and filing but I figure it's worth asking around on the possability that I may be able to buy the parts and save the time.

You might give this place a holler, they have a large assortment of parts and while they don't list the Rexio; you could get lucky:

Rexio is imported under the "Comanche" brand and they list all the parts here.

BUT-- I've found that listing them doesn't mean they HAVE them. I tried for two years to get a front sight from them and got an eternal song and dance about how "I've asked the manufacturer to send one and they just haven't done it". I asked "can't you take one off a gun in stock and let that gun wait for a new part?" The so called "customer service rep" said "oh we don't have any guns here sir, this is just an office."  I guess their idea of customer service is just answering the telephone. I finally gave up and made one myself. But give it a try, you may have better luck with your parts.

Hi,

I've tried to order a barrel through them.. Always got the run-around from them about it.  Seems that they will only sell it as a direct replacement in order to keep this from being a contender like setup with people putting the latest super-mag into something designed for colt pressures.

What I might do is to send my 45/410 frame to them and see if they would fit a new barrel to it.  I have been wanting a 32h&r for small game, and it would be an excellent piece without the expense of a contender.

Paul,
