A family pic and a walking stick adapter

 I was cleaning the safe to make room for the newest adition, and took this pic of them all together[ well almost, two shotguns got left out] sort of a family pic.



left to right are,4570 BC, 22hornet,20 ga NEF, 2oga Topper, 20ga 148 topper jr, 3030 158 Ihave the 20ga barrel that came with this one as well,45colt BC carbine, 223 heavy barrel,and 22 hornet.

what I got the camera out for is Im making a walking stick adapter. it still needs some tweeking, but so far I like it. I need to route a groove for the stick to align in, and make a pad for the top. I had a piece left over after making a laminated forend to match the boyds T hole stock.
                             

what do you think DR

heres a shooting stick that i made for my son to use with his 30-30 handi.

took an old broom stick,cut to size,used a hook i bought for bow hunting(bought at walmart in the tool section).drilled a pilot hole in end.scewed in
hook.son shot a 4 point with the setup last year.

Ya know dangerranger, if I could offer respectfull critique of yer stick,,

 I've used shootin sticks fer my Muzzle Loader guns an always chose a goodly stout branch with a "Y", or at least one with another branch growing at an angle, so I could settle the fore end into the "crotch". That allow's for the front of the stock to be held in one place,,
 I'm afraid yer wide flat spot might lend the fore end too move back'n'forth whilst yer grippin the stick,,

kawie I did the exact same thing but with a mop handle and the hook I used is padded
