A Boy's First Offshore Trip, and a few Big Smiles

Here's a couple of pics a few miles south of Freeport, Texas





He had SUCH an amazing time.  He came in to the cabin as we cruised between spots, and said, "Daddy, I'm having SO MUCH FUN".  It was blisteringly hot, and I was whipped and exhaused.  I almost thought that he was kidding because he had this huge smile on his face.  He was giddy.  But no, he was as happy as I've ever seen him.

They say to take a kid fishing.  Here's why.
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children what it was once like in the United States when men were free.  Ronaldus Maximus

Not a bad Amberjack either.
