Hey all. I just bought a new T/C Omega, blue, syn. stock. I am planning on shooting black powder, because I have a lot of it, and like how it fires. What projectiles have shot best for you guys in this rifle. I am a long time BP shooter, shot competition on a state and national level for years, and have shot several of these rifles w/triple 7, pyrodex, etc. I had too stop shooting my .54 due to rotator cuff surgery. All feedback appreciated.

I just got a omega stainless fluted barrel with the laminated thumbhole stock so far I've found it likes 130gr. triple seven with a 250 gr shockwave. I have a bunch of the hornady fpb 350 grainers but have had no luck getting them to shoot well.

So far, my little X-7's "go to" load is 95 grains of GOEX FFFg under a Speer 300 grain Gold Dot (now Deepcurl) in a Harvester short black sabot.  But I'm experimenting with the 250 grain Gold Dots and may switch.
