Think I saw this episode on the X-Files. 

Can you picture it? Millions of americans wearing the Body Bug monitor at $200 a pop. Of course, you'll need a computer to connect it to, and internet to send the results in. Lessee, let's call that $1000 per for equipment, and 1 year service. Never mind the backend requirements to collect, analyze and report that data. Now lets add in the field support to monitor the monitors and equipment. Probably social workers assigned. Another few hundred billion to inform america that we're not feeding our kids right? Duh.

We could always do what Chairman Mao liked ... rows upon rows of comrades lined up for daily calisthentics, chanting nationalists mantras, having just finished our carefully issued bowl of rice seasoned with the cooked remains of the previous administration. No childhood obesity there.

TN it's actually a lot easier than that to monitor what you eat- do you pay for your groceries with a credit card? If you do then missuz "o" already knows what you are feeding your kids. It is a lot closer than the X-files.

TN it's actually a lot easier than that to monitor what you eat- do you pay for your groceries with a credit card? If you do then missuz "o" already knows what you are feeding your kids. It is a lot closer than the X-files.

1 - I feel sorry for the persons assigned to monitor me, they are going to die from boredom.  I spend most of my time working, fishing, hunting, riding a bicycle, and I also
pick my banjo for a hobby.
2 - Whoever monitors my grocery purchases, are going to be puzzled as all get out.  I mostly eat whatever fish I catch, and hogs / deer .  I usually fill my deer tags in deer season, and we are overun with wild hogs.  I process my own meat, even make my own sausage, which I'm told is very good.
I don't eat store bought chicken b/c I don't like strychnine, and I don't eat much commercial meat, b/c of the hormone/antibiotic laced diet.
I purchase eggs from a local fellow, who has a small chicken / egg operation.

I wonder if this lifestyle makes me a racist?
