Front sight on a QB88
« on: July 19, 2010, 03:22:01 PM »
I have a QB88 and want to remove the front sight. It's in the barrel wrong, tilted to the left making open sights useless. I put a red dot sight on it that shoots quite well. My problem is when I look into the scope I see that front sight leaning to the left. It drives me crazy. Does anyone know how to remove or straighten the front sight on this gun?
Thanks    Rick-----

there should be a set screw(s) to remove.

first, check the grub screws that hold the barrel in the action and make sure the barrel is not in crooked. you should be able to loosen the screws and adjust the barrel so the sights are correct.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to tune it soon and will check the barrel out!    Rick---
