Round butt / square butt ?'s

I am nowhere near my guns and was just asked a question I can't answer without looking at my own guns. Are more recent manufacture N frame revolvers going to be round butt or square? And is the year of manufacture the determining factor or is there more to it than I think. Both of my N frames are fairly new. Thanks for the continuing education.

The recent N frames are round butt.  I think some of the new classic series might have square butts, but the std production N frames are round.
