« on: July 21, 2010, 04:19:07 PM »
Has 28in barrel, straight grip.  Says it comes with all accessories, target front sight, Williams rear.  What's it worth please?

$250-$350 would be the going price, depends on when it was made, I paid $317 for my 2007 NIB in early 2007, the last year they made them, anything older than late 2006 will be overbore with a neck too tight to shoot bore size bullets without a work around, so be aware, lots of info on that in the FAQs.

I have paid from $165 (she was selling her ex husband's guns) to $325 for Target Models.  I still have two of them.  Probably my favorite Handi....

Tim is right on in my opinion....

Thanks.  I knew about the sight, but not about the tight chamber.  Really appreciate all the help I'm getting on this forum.  Hope I can give back some day.

Beware of oversize bore and tight chamber as formentioned... Starline brass and a .380 lazer cast bullet works for me with a case full of Triple 7... Have fun..

I seem to have a 38/55 barrel with the tight chamber you guys were discussing.I have made a chamber cast which confirms the throat(or lack of...) but don't have anything to slug the bore with. Is it likely that the throat reamer from 4D can solve my problem, and is there any real chance of my messing things up?  Thanks for any help.   G66

Slugging the bore is easy with a soft lead egg sinker available from most any store that sells fishing tackle, see chamber casting and bore slugging in the FAQs, I think neck reaming is covered in the FAQs too, I've not done it, but I've throat reamed by hand several times.  ;)
