Fish and Game in an Uproar
« on: July 24, 2010, 09:44:05 AM »
With the judges decission on Unit-13 Caribou this close to the opening it has really thrown a wrench into the hunt for this year.  Since the Judge declarred the hunt against the illegial, don't see how it can go forth as F&G has requested.  In my openion it will just be cancelled, no fall hunt.  There is talk of adding allocations to the winter hunt, but hardly anyone participates in that hunt anyway.  If they go back to the old Teir II system, I might again get to hunt that herd.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I don't think anybody knows what is going on with that hunt, judges, f&g, biologists, hunters.....  everybody is just throwin something in and playing trial and error... mostly error lately.  We will see what works itself out.
