Steve Lee's 2nd song off his album - I Like Guns

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1geyoxeifk0&feature=player_embedded
"To my deep mortification my father once said to me, "You care for nothing but shooting, dogs and rat catching, and you will be a disgrace to yourself and all your family."

I saw this one and the media interview that tried to make him look like a redneck potential mass murderer instead of a guy with a passion for craftsmanship and fun.
Even when they edited the footage the interviewer looked dumber than he did.
Served her right! ;D
A great song.

All of the English speaking nations....the Yanks, Brits, Canuks and Aussies all need to take back control of their governments instead of the governments controlling us.  Where I live, a firearm is a necessary tool.  City dwellers anywhere can't comprehend that.....all they know is fear.  Since they comprise the population majority, the fear becomes law.  The lawmakers refuse to accept the fact that the crime rate in places like Florida has dramatically decreased with liberalized concealed carry.  It also is sky high in places with tight gun control. Like NY City, Washington D.C and Chicago.

OK, I'm off the pulpit.

We are in the middle of an election campaign. Only 3 weeks to go and my vote will fix all that's wrong ::)

Last week the Polly's rolled out the knives are evil fear card and further restrictions will be placed on them and penalties for carrying a knife will be increased. Tomahawks and other edged tools are tarred with the same brush - should earn both party's plenty of votes

Today I heard a bloody Polly squarking about new legislation to be introduced to further restrict access to Replica Handguns and introduce a licence to possess them? He was pleased to announce though - Toy Cap guns would not be caught in the very wide net they are about to cast as they only wish to protect law abiding citizens and punish the criminals ??? He did make the point that criminals are able to get hold of illegal firearms or knives though  ???

Just how do you put Brains into a monument to whats wrong with society today.

Australia is the most highly urbanised country in the world and as such the huge majority of the population have zero concept that knives, tomahawks or firearms are Tools - end of story. They swallow the gup that these inanimate objects are responsible for the ills of 21st century life. They have no concept of accepting personnel responsibility for ones actions and do not realise that they have had the privileges and freedoms fought for by their Grandfathers eroded away and are perfectly happy to have there lives managed for them - saddest thing is they do not even realise it.

I'm getting annoyed, off the pulpit - NEXT
"To my deep mortification my father once said to me, "You care for nothing but shooting, dogs and rat catching, and you will be a disgrace to yourself and all your family."
