That's "ratnice" Tim but now we get serious (sort of).
To dispell the notion that morko has anything to do with the newer eastern/oriental religious practice (a.k.a. Christianity), here is "Ave Maria" in latin. There isn't a trace of anything like it on morko; fractured or otherwise.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Domus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen
Victor: "Name of the Rose" takes place during 1326 and is representative of the Latin scholarship for our period. DISCUMBOOBERATED! I'll be disappointed if you don't get to see it.
Zulu: Could be "Wind Talking"
I'm not familiar with Navaho. I have a knowledge of Iroquoian; both Seneca and Mohawk through friends. My late aunt was Canadian Cree and I root for Magua in the Last of the Mohicans, not the Anglaize.
Here is an open question related to the movie, "Last of the Mohicans". Between cannon rounds, the crew is seen covering the breech with what I believe are sheep skins. I thought it was to keep the priming powder dry.
Someone I know who is involved with the weapons at Colonial Williamsburg, thought it was being done with dampened hides to cool the breech; which makes no sense to me, since the period of cover time would amount to zilch during this rapid fire scene and I believe it was raining at the time too. The question becomes academic.
