Hotchkiss Mountain Gun
« on: July 25, 2010, 08:01:47 AM »
Hi folks.

I am putting together a single purpose site on the 1.65" Hotchkiss Mountain Gun.  I thought long and hard and finally named it
www.hotchkissmountaingun.com

Seem to fit the subject, no? ;D

Anyway, I don't want it to be too fancy, no fora or things like that, but I would like to accumulate information.  If anyone has photos, rounds or the like please pm me.  I am trying to suss out what was manufactured for these things and over what time.  While I have access to the Ordnance Reports, they really don't tell the whole story so any info would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Great resource that you're building!  I hope you have a division in there for making reproductions as well!

Not to mention, History, parts drawings, etc etc.

I've got some engineering drawings and virtually all of the references that I have in hard copy I have in PDF too.

I am going to have to proceed beyond the Barbie Web Designer phase though to do what I want.  I've been accumulating powder and other measurements for shells that I've unloaded.  I'd like to post all of that too.

Thanks for the kind words.

I'm sure that we collectively could come up with pictures of examples of it around the nation.
